Kitty Bag

This is a replica of a bag produced by Saint Laurent and also Dolce & Gabanna.  In fact there's been a few variations of this design.  The bag is made from a patent.  It definitely feels vintage to me because of the weight of the clasp, which is solid and has a smooth close.  The inside is a black taffeta and beautifully finished.  All in all this is a classy little piece.  Both sides of the bag have the leopard print.  One side has a very unusual imperfection, a curved ripple effect which I dont know if it's intentional or accidental.  It's very hard to see unless it's in a particular light.  There is also a tiny little nick up the top of the bag next to the clasp.  I've tried to identify these imperfections as much as possible in the pics, so there's no surprises.  The bag has no 'label' inside but says that it is Made in China.
It really is an eye catcher that's for sure.
